Max Frank – 50 years of experience of reinforced concrete construction

For 50 years, Max Frank GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered at Leiblfing in Bavaria and managed by the second generation of the Frank family, has designed, manufactured and sold technologically based products and services for the construction industry. The Founders - Max Frank senior and Heribert Hiendl – started their business by producing fibre reinforced concrete spacers, which are today used in the construction of concrete structures all over the world. Since that time, the company’s product range has been continuously extended with the addition of formwork systems, reinforcement systems, sealing systems and sound insulation.

Since its foundation in 1962, both the company and its markets have developed significantly. In 1984, FRANK acquired Peca Verbundtechnik GmbH, located at Pressig in the Bavarian district of Oberfranken and later, in the 2003, EGCO AG, a Swiss company, bringing with it the Egcobox® cantilever connector and the Egcodorn construction dowel along with the sound insulation business specialising in the acoustic decoupling of concrete structures.

The company has always been guided by the same core values: the highest product quality, technically comprehensive solutions for the concrete and reinforced concrete industries and growth shared with customers, suppliers and partners alike. Our external sales teams and our German distributor network ensure a comprehensive customer service - a tradition that the company is committed to maintaining.

The company fosters an open and transparent communication culture, both with its staff and its partners, which in turn has led, over the years, to the establishment of 14 subsidiaries worldwide. Today, some 120 of the 540 members of staff are employed outside Germany, serving the construction markets of Europe, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region.

The company operates DIN EN ISO 9001 quality management systems.
